All time world ODI XI game

Makes sense to bat Cairns at 7. Cairns can bat defensively and build a partnership if there's a collapse, which Afridi can't do anywhere near as well.

Also I have a sense that Cairns was better than Afridi under pressure although I'm not sure the numbers will bear that out. At the very least more responsible and reliable.

Afridi also got 4 of those 6 centuries from the top order where Cairns never got to play. Obviously much higher probability of getting centuries when you play up the order.

Anyways, this XI is a very flexible one with deep batting, so I'm pretty sure someone like Afridi would regularly get promoted up to 6 and 7 anyway when required.

Glenn Maxwell.

I am picking the cricketer who I think could dominate this number 6 spot the most, not necessarily the next best batter.

Clarke I guess

Clarke wins. There's a tie among Hooper, Chanderpaul, Cronje, Twose, Maxwell. Hooper can't win because I voted for him. I am breaking the tie by choosing one among the rest - Cronje. Hope that is fine with everyone.

Also, Cronje at 5 and Jonty at 6. I don't think Jonty ever batted before Cronje in the SA team too.
