What colour is the sight screen they're using? Given that it's a pink ball, you'd think a white screen wouldn't offer the right contrast.

Yeah, it is white. I also thought there was a bit of glare on it from the floodlights last night.

Played KW. Kinda gutted Taylor couldn't be the one to pass Crowe's record first, but really it's only fitting that it's him.

The Agnew comments pissed me off. Teams like New Zealand have much more legitimacy to complain about the way modern cricket is going with regards to tests than England do. They lost their first nine wickets for under 30 runs ffs. Call it what it is, completely ****ing abject.

Very pleased for Williamson - WAG. Top NZ hundred scorer at just 27.

Pleased with how Nipples is playing too. His method might seem somewhat opener-like with the leaving and the awkwardness and nurdliness and a lot of patience, but I actually quite like having his style of batsman at 5 in this lineup.

So Eden Park is a superbly designed viewing ground with respectably sized boundaries? Agreed

Really though, I feel like you're right but I'm trying to think of other grounds around the world and why they'd feel further away. Traditionally Eden Park has been accused of not being well designed for spectators and if anything being too far from the action.
Try sitting on the top tier at the MCG

I know sentiments are in favour of Overton for hitting a few runs earlier, but I don't see much promise in his mid-120s mediums unless he can put on 10km/h. Maybe then his height and seam movement would provide a greater challenge.

What's the biggest percentage of an opposition team's 1st innings score that a batsman has made in their 1st innings of the match in Test cricket?

eg. if KW gets to 116 he'd be 200% of England's score
