Not a bad effort though, hitting a moving target from that sort of range.
Though in very Carragher fashion, it was actually a spectacular own goal

I do wonder how much was going on before it was recorded, given the person knew it was Carragher and he was pretty quick to wind the window down and literally spit back

Carragher's apology is genuine, and you can see that, but beneath it I suspect there's more context he wants to give but won't through fear of diluting the apology. Surely that can't have just been scoreline 'banter' for him to react like that

I thought this too but it when I thought more it actually makes no sense. Like they’d both need to have rolled their windows down, abused each other, rolled them back up, met again, the guy pretended it was the first time they’d met, then mutually agreed to roll their windows back down to continue the abuse. All while Carragher ‘never noticed’ the girl in the passenger seat.

The other guy was clearly an absolute tool, but terrible judgement from Carragher, surely in his career he has heard much worse abuse and was able to react less scummy?

I don't want him to lose his job, but wouldn't be seething "miscarriage of justice, pc gone mad" etc if he did.
This is a guy who got sent off at Highbury for launching a coin at the crowd.

Quite possibly the first ever recorded instance of a scouser throwing away spare change he'd found on the ground.

A lot of the blame on Jose for that knock out.Did not try to play football away and showed little intensity util two goals down. Its been something that has dragged them down quite a bit since he joined as manager.

The line up tonight? Mental. Mata and Mc Tominey dropped while Fellani picked. Bollocks.

Pogba when he came on was second least ineffective player on the pitch when he came on, just behind Alexis who was utter poison all night.

Switched over from watching us lose against Cardiff just in time for Sevilla to score their first.

Top three place now ours by rights. Hard to see Macc falling away enough for us to catch them but you never know. Otherwise, Wembley again I guess.

Jose found it necessary to defend for 60 minutes on the 2nd leg after doing that for all the first. Utter shite approach that was punished. This defend 1st approach that the team can't execute needs changing. Agree on Sanchez being worthless again. Great offload by Arsenal he was.

Agreed, karma. Watch City massacre them in the quarter finals:laugh:

Sanchez?Dunno where to begin. Ideally when he was signed he was to be played on the right, but for the most part that does not seem to have happened. Not only have his performances have been poor, but his signing seems to have upset the balance of the team and possibly may lead to the premature departure of Martial who was bossing it before he arrived. Martial who seven years younger than Sanchez could be a world beater if persisted with.

Its easy to blame Jose for Sanchez losing form, as he there is history of him mismanaging those players, but there is also another concern about Sanchez which you alluded to,

Is he on the wane? It was easy to blame Wenger and Arsenal's mediocrity for his sluggish season before Christmas, but he is a player who is reliant on exlosiveness and when I watch him these days he seems a step slower than he was when he was bossing it for Arsenal. The concern for United is they may have a Rooney on there hands, a declining talent on an absolute monster salary contributing **** all.

Its premature to write him off, but initial signs are not promising.

Very nicely done by Sevilla. Thankfully, Man Utd. won't be inflicting that ugly **** Mourinho calls "football" on the CL any longer. You can only grind so many results out.

They were pretty much the same in the Europa League last year, only got lucky on a couple of occasions and faced teams of much lower quality.
