69 SR for a middle order 50 when your team was 6-90 is OK. 69 SR for a opener 50, on a good batting pitch, perhaps not so good.

Moeen drop costly already. NZ can get to 240+ here, and whilst we are big favourites it gives their spinners something to go at with a couple of early wickets. Been unimpressed with our effort in the last 15 - shoddy in field and some dross with ball.

Even before I saw those stats, which are insanely good, I thought Woakes should be a leftfield chance for MoS. Hes been incredibly good, and part of the difference in the sides in not allowing fast starts and doing the job at the death in Wellington. He's a gun cricketer

Haha, if you're gunning for Nicholls at 5 in the World Cup I feel like youre aiming too low. Yep, did OK today but 55 off 81 on an absolute road then out at the wrong time? What is he good at, genuinely? Not a hitter not an accumulator not clutch not consistent. Gutsy ish I guess...but yeah Im not convinced at all. And yes my golden boy is laying brown eggs I know
