Have they given any sensible reason why they keep doing this? It's not like they haven't got quality batsmen to pick from. I mean Maddinson was playing Tests last season.

WA must be about at their 4th choice bowling lineup by now. If they were to lose Mackin as well than all of whats left would have all of three first class caps between them.

Thing is that Behrendorff and NCN would both be in the frame for national duty even if they weren't injured. Though that would probably release Richardson to play instead. And if Pattinson and Bird were not injured I don't think any of them would be on the plane to South Africa.

I really don't know where WA keep digging up these guys. They have more fast bowling depth than SA, QLD, Tas and Vic combined.

nsw do this every couple of seasons. they pick someone for most of the season, well past the point when he should have been dropped, and then they completely dump him when the season ends.

I think that Holder is really mediocre from what Ive seen. Watch him take 6/50 now.

Metal still gets stress fractures unfortunately. I think even if his spine was entirely replaced by steel he'd still break down.

I better remember to watch the NSW match, and hope they end up batting first.

Vics winning the first game for the season last round are off the bottom and 7 points from the top of the table.

NSW have fallen off the top perch for the first time this season.

Last year's runner up SA replaces last year's winner at the bottom.

Tassie's good run faltered while the Sandgropers are stuck in the middle

And no one's tip Queensland are now sitting on top !
