*****, you'll be happy to know that this is actually live on Australian TV. I don't know if they're covering all the games or just a few, but yeah.

Keep in mind that there's nowhere to watch the IPL on Australian TV at all..

It's because the Blitz is better than the IPL. S.Kennedy says so.

Hahaha yessss a stickied thread. Awesome.

First fifty of the Blitz comes from a HK player! Superb innings from Aizaz here.

Looks like Kalhan isn't in the playing XI for CTK. That's disappointing. Hope he gets a game at some point. Kid's a legit talent.

Merwe bowling rank fulltosses and screaming 'catch', then getting miffed at Nizakat at long-off for not stopping the boundary.

How about pitching the ball Roelof

Tanveer Ahmed not getting a bowl this innings is weird. He's not a good enough batter to justify a spot in the XI as a batsman. Could have played Scott McKechnie in his place.

That whole over was pretty despicable cricket.

Full toss, mistimed slog, bad fielding. Repeat.

Commentary taking note of Tanveer's non-bowling as well. It's strange to pick HK National Team's specialist death-overs-bowler and not bowl him at all. He can bat a bit, by club standards, but he bats at 10/11 for HK. And, as noted, they've left out some HK batting options on the bench for him.

I can understand Raag Kapur not having batted yet since everyone sent above him is arguably a better T20 batsman. Tanveer being picked as essentially a specialist fielder is weird. Probably expected his bowling to be a handy option to have up their sleeve but haven't needed it. But with Sammy, Ninand, Kinchit and Nizakat who can all bowl in the team as well, it's really a hard to defend selection.

Waqas playing an excellent little cameo here. 130 odd would be a good recovery for CTK, but not enough IMO.

CTK's overseas batting contingent combined for 20 runs off 28 balls with 3 dismissals and 1 boundary. They would have expected more from their investment.

Meanwhile Hung Hom's overseas bowlers combined for 12-0-82-4. Decent effort.

Aizaz, Waqas and Nadeem all doing well is good to see. Lets hope Nizakat scores some runs in the chase too.

Not the best start to the innings from Hung Hom, but what's important is that they have all their wickets in hand and 27 (now 28) runs after the first 4 overs.

A mention of CW's 44th best ever ODI cricketer Ian Harvey on the comms.

Jaguars cruising, can Bopara pull it back with his mixed bag of tricks.

Lol missed catch. Emrit and Tanvir went for it, but no one called and it dropped safely between them.

CTK have gone off the boil here. 50 up from Hong Hom. Crusing to victory atm. Hope Nizakat opens up and nails a few now, he's so good to watch when in flow.
