Actually 5, lol. I'm a Federer fan but this is a bit uncomfortable to watch. But Djokovic also got schooled by Federer first time they played in a Major in the Australian Open 2007 and he turned out fine.
Hard to really say Federer didn't break a sweat at the AO last year though, got taken to 5 three times.

Was a great series. Sadly every Slam since then has been more or less ****. Worse too is that by the end of the year it looks like every single Slam winner may be over 30.

He better, because really don't need to see another procession. Men's tennis is so grim right now. You could make an argument the ****ers don#t deserve same pay as the ladies when you consider how much more exciting the ladies tour has been for the last year or so.

Had Serena not gotten pregnant we'd probably be talking about the same thing on that tour tbf

Missed that part. Shame for Chung, maybe this partly explains the blowout.

But yeah, Federer... his life seems to be perfect. Nearly everything works out for him.

Maybe, but heck even Serena used to throw in some tight exciting matches when she won Slams. What we have seen over last 12 months has been so boring with these 2 sleep walking there way to Slams.

Cilic vs Federer ...

I’m not anti Federer but even I who am definitely more of a fan of men’s than women’s tennis am starting to find my interest waning somewhat.

Why would he... he did the hard yards losing final after final against prime Djokovic in 2014-15. He's maintained that level despite injury, the others didn't, so he wins. It's the #nextGen who should be embarrassed (Dimitrov, Nishikori, etc.) because none of them stepped up and became great, or even consistently good enough to challenge the aging Big 4.

This Australian female commentating on the Wozniacki-Halep match is so dull. Just keeps droning on incessantly. Just shut up for a while FFS, it's not radio.

One set all.

Yeah, I don't like Woz much but good on her for finally winning one. Not sure if Halep will eventually get her fairytale.

Well one of the bottlers had to win I guess.
i don't think caroline has ever been a bottler though, she is just a limited player and almost always lost to superior opponents in big matches...halep on the other hand has been a bottler so far...i don't like wozniacki's game but she is such a nice person, it is good to see her finally get over that hump, congratulations to her!
