Everyone clapping. Indian dressing room smiling for Pujara. Lol
With the #intent mob running our team, Rohit Sharma must be thrilled about this Pujara knock. He'll be back in his place in the next Test. He was probably clapping the loudest.

Pujara may break all those Ravi Shashtri records in 92, hopefully

14 from 81 at Durban
7 from 48 and 23 from 139 at J'burg
10 from 76 and and 5 from 68 at P.E

Hope he stays that long...

There will probably be a runout at some point as well, what with Kohli pushing an extra run for everything and Pujara being a turtle.

Good from India first session.... could have gone much worse for them SA missing a few chances, good bowling performance overall.

Tight session that. Top class bowling from South Africa and India will look towards Phehlukwayo to score than runs. Kohli struggled for a bit but good to see him fight it out and not bother about his strike rate.

I hope I'm made to eat humble pie, but Phehlukwayo's selection is utterly pointless. Let the pressure off and doesn't have anything that any of the other four don't have.

I don't get the Pujara hate, grinding out in difficult batting conditions is "intent", getting impatient and flashing your blade is not, Philander would have snared a few more if Pujara wasn't hanging in there. If Pujara wasn't run-out in the previous game, he could have managed a lot more. In the long run, I think Pujara is the one who will play the most number of meaningful innings out of the current lot.

Just checking in.....

No spinners AT ALL. And Pujara of the mark within 54 deliveries. I haven't seen a single ball, so what do I know. But it sounds like proper testing test cricket.

I'm the type of cricket lover that rates Dravid over Tendulkar. No surprise I rate Pujara :) . And let's face it: Both openers back in the hut and Kohli lucky to be there. Having 8 wickets intact on a day like this is, imnsho, a job well done!

If we do collapse I just hope it's not to Phehlukwayo.
One thing Indian and South African fans alike can probably agree to, really.

I hope he doesn't embarrass himself but it'd definitely suck a bit if he did so well that South Africa had an excuse to pick him at full strength or close to it moving forward.
