Kohli's been good enough. An outstanding innings in this test, was all class. Looked good in 2nd inning first test too until he got a good ball.
The rest of the top order have been very poor. Tbh I think they will get better, India has been at home for 18 months. They just aren't used to the bounce plus movement.

Too much focus has been on the selections . A lot of complaints about rohit, bumrah and dhawan ( 1st test) and 5 bowlers. The 5 bowler strategy has been the best thing India have done this series. Its worked. The bowlers have mostly been outstanding.

I mean he might make a matchwinning double next Test and then it really would be a top quality series, but as it stands it won't be one he remembers as one of his best or even his better ones.

And, I mean, we're obviously judging him by higher standards, like all batsmen in his general bracket.

Yeah Praveen Kumar was not that bad bowler in tests though.
