Hey, if Rohit scores runs today and books his spot for the 3rd test then good on him. Pujara doesn't deserve a guaranteed spot. Been rubbish overseas. Fights and absorbs pressure which is admirable, but when you're giving away your wicket like this, you deserve a kick up the bum.

He might not deserve a guaranteed spot overseas but he most certainly deserves one ahead of Rohit Sharma. The latter averages <20 in NZ/Aus/SA/Eng.

He's not even batting badly, just brain fading repeatedly now. Got 1 gem in the 2nd innings of the first Test, and the other three dismissals have been dumb runouts and a loose poke outside off.

He's looking like one of the best batsmen but he's got to stop being dumb
