He deserved way better figures in the first innings but he doesn't have any excuses in this innings at all. He's conceded a boundary every over today. Not good enough.

Nah c'mon, that's weak. Dropped catches doesn't excuse his inability to bowl dot balls. He's never been able to do it, and he still hasn't figured it out.
I think I've gone off the hype train for him. He's a beast when the conditions are spinning and he has all the tools in his arsenal, but he just can not string together dots and build pressure. He's completely incapable of it when he doesn't have a pitch that suits him. He's a great strike bowler but a liability otherwise.
We're better off picking Jadeja in conditions like these tbh.
