One of the things the selectors need to figure out is how much they want to carry a specialist keeper in this format.
It's a bit of a who cares thing. We don't have any keeping option who actually deserves a top 6 spot and trying to manufacture one seems like a worse option

So the keeper can get up to the stumps at the batsman's end but the guy fielding only ten metres from the bowlers end can't get to the stumps there? That's pretty appalling tactics, but seems to be oh so in vogue these days.
