Ok I it's just one day and I might be judging them too early but this Indian team is looking the Indian team of old..you know when we could attribute it to "Dhoni being defensive, negative, indifferent, lacking intent' etc etc.

This reminds me of the Hafeez-Azhar fiasco earlier in 2017. Hafeez dropped from the ODI squad, Azhar gets injured, Hafeez gets recalled, replaces Azhar has captain for 2 ODIs

Too early to say. Never judge a pitch until both sides have batted and bowled on it. So far this to me looks like a pitch where SC teams never take 20 wickets but still manage to get bowled out twice. Have seen plenty of these games.
Pitch virtually always cracks up. Weather predicted to be very hot as well.
We have seen the odd ball keeping low allready.

None of the wickets have been great... but ABdV was just sloppy, and Amla's was very poor. Also think Faf been batting a bit slow, the pitch is not that dangerous.
