Guptill has overall world cup average of 65 over 2 world cups. Clearly a better performer than Ross taylor at world cups.
Scott styris was a superstar at world cups. Also generally underrated at odis.

That was a great innings. It was still a world cup knockout game and a special innings.
He has a better record than taylor at world cups even if you exclude that innings. That would be a silly thing to do anyway.
Taylor's world cup record is fairly misreable if you exclude the superb century vs pakistan in 2011.

Crowe was the best player in the 1992 tournament. Guptill rated behind Boult, Elliott and McCullum in the NZ team alone in 2015

Anyway Williamson, Taylor and Crowe would be guaranteed selections along with Hadlee and Bond in all-time NZ ODI team. Guptill wouldn't be guaranteed as Nathan Astle might be selected to bowl 5 or 6 overs
