Nah... be a little quicker, think that this track surprised SA a bit. We also batted in the first morning conditions (by choice!) that was quicker than expected. And the rain has kept the track lively, would probably have been much flatter without yesterday.

Think they are just going to be quicker, and I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the games on the Highveld was done and dusted in three days. Australia will get flatter wickets.

Think Faf wanted that here as well. But Newlands hardly ever plays like a Highveld pitch. This was always going to be Indias best chance of winning. Just thought it would come through Ash.

SA were 52/0. Lost all 10 for 78 runs.
India were 92/7 first innings
SA were 92/7 this innings..

So par target on this is probably 150-160-170 tops

So target of 208 gives India much less of a chance, probably in the region of 25% to be brutally honest.

India could easily be 60/5 and 120 bowled out. Or 50/1 and then 120/8..

208 gives SA a big enough buffer to get through India who are also a batsman short.

At least India have salvaged their reputation in this game. Most probably won't be a huge defeat. (although could still lose by 80+ runs)

Aggressive mindset will be good for India. A few boundaries will make SA nervous - 208 isn't a huge target.

SA mustn't relax till they get all 10.

We might still lose but I haven't felt this good with an overseas performance in a while. First Pandya-Bhuvi then this bowling performance. Ooof. Usually we'd get out for say 130 in first innings and then SA would score 300-400 etc etc but this was different.
