He definitely made a good point. The WA bowlers made it largely off the back of domestic one day performances while Kane Richardson was away with Australia doing well.

I dont like Tye in 50 overs so much. Excellent T20 bowler, I guess if Stoinis Marsh Head all play，Tye doesnt need to get through his full 10.

It's all well and good to reward domestic performances, but you can't do it at the expense of someone who performed well as an incumbent for Australia.
You need more continuity with selection. Can't just drop someone like that IMO

There's nothing forcing them to play him though, or forcing them to make him open the batting

I would consider Fawad for Australia T20I tbh. i just feel he bowls more wicket taking deliveries than Zampa and is generally a little more tidy roo.

I feel really bad for him because the entire usefulness of his bowling is based around his chucking. If he's forced to change it (which he will be if people start paying attention) he's going to struggle to stay useful.

His best hope is to do a Steve Smith and become a specialist batsman. Don't blame him for making the most of not being banned from bowling yet though.

Fawad's fielding will go against him at national level.
