Pakistanis have been moaning on social media since Bhuvi got picked in the Cricinfo ODI XI over Amir/Junaid. Bhuvi now making them taste it.

That was some glorious heat from Bhuvi

Was that whole narrative with Steyn just a ruse? Thought he wasn't playing

On "current form" we probably should have dropped Kohli after the 2014 England tour or the home series vs Australia.
and who would have been our Rohit Sharma at that time?

Just to be clear I would have had Rahane play the first test, but it's an understandable decision either way.

Im curious to see how Bumrah bowls at the tail. Ive never seen him with a red ball, but think he will be a handful.

Nobody ever said Steyn was not playing... a statement by Gibson was taken out of context and extreme hype from the media. So normal crap.

Apparently, the story is that Steyn bowled a spell full of venom at Elgar yesterday. Beat the bat everytime and Elgar couldn't touch a single ball. And then Elgar said this is the fastest that he has ever seen Steyn bowl.

Philander on this right now would be unfair.
Would have been scary.

Possibly.... but it is exactly what I worried about, to much grass on the pitch. SA don't need that extreme movement, bowlers are good enough.
I still think this pitch will be very placid come day 3, 4, 5 - if it is from day 2 as well then we may be in trouble here ifvwe don't get early partnerships.

But going with the 6/5 option they probably should have backed themselves bowling first even though the pitch will do things quicker on day 2.

Well We might get to test that theory today.
