Absolutely agree, he has the talent and I have said that for a long time too.

Still a fair way to go but I said before the series that if we didn't get whitewashed, I would be amazed. I know that we have still lost the series but if its only 1-0 that would be a step in the right direction for us considering we are playing a top team in their own backyard..

He might get another go just on the basis of being an opener. Someone has to open with Dimuth; lets just hope they don't make Mendis or Dhananjaya do it.

You know for all the problems the SL team have, and struggle they have regards replacing great players, I always feel that they are a fighting team... its nice to see them continually punch above their weight.

I kind of want them to make Dilruwan opening a permanent thing, even though I'm sure he'd average about 10 doing it in SA/Eng/Aus/NZ. Their other openers suck and this would give them a way to play five proper bowlers without leaving one of the better batsmen out.
