I think it might be an over-reliance on pace, if anything. He seemed to lose patience after three quality overs here.

He’s going to be a handful for sure. Balls are starting to disturb the surface and spin big every so often.

Hazlewood is solid, not too worried. 4 for the game in Brisbane, including Root, just not getting the nicks here. Possibly a foot short, conditions like these reward guys who really throw it up there and that’s not really his MO I think.
