***Official*** 1st Test at Brisbane

Sledging Broad and Anderson when they were batting was a little silly as both neither seemed to take their batting that seriously, hence they were hardly fazed. Lots of smiles and laughter at 5 foot Warner trying to act tough

At least sledge the top order bats who might be put off their game. Stoneman this morning will cop it I'm sure
Yes Warner is a complete rodent! Could make any target look pretty small though if there’s for any length of time.

Yes those two don’t discriminate, don’t just wait for bowlers before they’re confident enough to say a word or two! Not cowards them two mate.
So they sledge bowlers when they bat, havent seen it but I'll take your word for it.

An Australian sledging a Geordie who sledges back would be impossible to take seriously - probably the two silliest accents there are

Warner has learning difficulties. So he gets a pass in my book. Probably doesn't know who he is sledging or what he is saying.

You could Anderson at one point just say "Yeah right okay" without even looking down at Warner

I don't want to be accused of wishing any real harm on these Australian bowlers, but if they could each tweak a hammy this session i'd be most grateful

It didnt take him long to learn that he could make millions playing cricket and then wisely invest those millions to make even more millions.

Broad had some words to say to Starc while the latter was batting yesterday.
So there is your reason why the Aussies (so called) sledged the tail. If the bowlers come out to bat and have a few words to say then they will get a few words back, thats how cricket works.

Amazing to hear commentators saying 200 could be a challenge given the history of 4th innings here. There's really nothing in the surface still. Would say we need to still be batting tomorrow morning to get out of this match with anything.

Agreed.

I think anything under 270 would make Aus favs. Especially considering David "special bus" Warner's record here and Smith's current form.
