Good luck to the young fella and I'm sure tonight he's absolutely stoked, but I've always thought he should have been patient and worked his way through the NSW system. Maybe all the struggles he's had will be good for him in the long run, but I'm not convinced. He was no where near ready for Shield cricket and Tassie did him no favours (or themselves tbt) in rushing him. Hopefully he kicks on from here though.

I don't know about little folk, but Sri Lanka definitely knew how to nourish me when I was there. Heals would have told me I couldn't have a runner.

Doran was quietly building a solid year before this innings. If he gets the ton it could well be the breakout knock he needs.
