Yes both true, but that sort of thing would have been unthinkable a few years ago, even with the above caveats.

They've lost every single Test they've ever played in South Africa by an innings, barring the first Test of this tour which they lost by over 300 runs. They've also lost every ODI they've played away against South Africa. Maybe it seems like they're getting worse because people are actually vaguely interested in these games and just didn't properly register how horrible they were in the earlier ones (as it was just expected), but they're not actually getting worse.
