Man.. I actually wonder if Eng would have beaten RSA without TRJ. He was that good and becoming that important in this side. Too bad for the bloke. Seemed to be someone who had waited a while to get his break too and someone who respects the game and stuff.

FFS, TRJ is a big blow. Despite what the 'experts' say who are queuing up to tell us how useless he'll be in Australia despite having solid enough pace and good height.

He's tall and bowls mid-80s. The height gives him something to work with on Australian wickets.

That sucks so so much with both Broad and Woakes out of form, and Broad carrying an injury.

It's going to really suck if they dish out the kind of roads they had in the 2014-16 seasons. Can't see England taking 20 wickets without a lot of struggle, and Aus might struggle too if they're missing a few bowlers.

I dont know what is so special about Bird? I remember people last year were acting as if he's Waqar Younis or Malcolm Marshall when he was dropped but when he got selected,He bowled slower than Collingwood's 65mph thunderbolts
