I don’t know. I think they dgaf about the CT mostly, T20s a more difficult proposition to work out, though it’s a different form of the game again
It was more down to balance imo. If they had to drop Faulkner, they needed to bring in someone who can bat (Agar).Does anyone else feel like Zampa is the Lyon of ODIs? Every time Australia drop him it's a mistake.
Yeah. Poor technique. Are there not better middle-order options available than Pandey?
he's ugly to look at but he's already turned in a bunch of good performances. He's done way better than anyone else we have tried except for Jadhav. And he's gun in domestix as well. Also a good fielder. Not much, other than never actually having seen him play well
We should move forward with guys like KL, Karun etc. Not backwards with Raina.Long term, I do think it will benefit India more if Raina finds his mojo back and is back at #4 before the WC rolls around. He has done well in ODIs in England before and I think he is a better shout and might even allow us to bat MSD at 4 and let Raina, Jadhav and Pandya take care of the 30-50 over chunk.
It's pretty much the perfect time to test him out for an extended stint, too.Pandey is averaging 38 with a SR of 90+ just 13 games into his ODI career. With a matchwinning 100 away from home and a couple of useful fifties.
Just 13 innings. 14 games.
What on Earth do you guys expect from a new batsman in the middle order, seriously.
