Alien conditions definitely seems to have a bigger affect on tails than anything else. Useful batsmen can just become completely bunnies. It happens with Asian tailenders touring outside Asia too though.

dammit. maybe just did enough to get retained. maybe.
I reckon he and Cartwright will probably get another bat in the second dig at this rate, and there will be Shield games before the next Test Australia play too. I don't think this innings will have tipped the scales either way.

I love it when it's opposite though. Remember Siddle's twin high scores and Starceh's efforts.
