Still honours even since Smith and Renshaw at the crease at the end of the day
Yea Handscomb is someone I'd be concerned of. Maxwell is a real X factor too - he definitely could click and cause problems.Handscomb is ok tbf. He actually gave his wicket away a lot in India whilst looking reasonably comfortable at the crease.
Cant get out to spin if you run your self out.Khawaja's run out is funny everytime
Shows true Yorkshire grit to blank it all out.Renshaw's been through a few of these in his short career.
He's a flat out run scoring machine. Best player in the world by a mile atmSmith's looking alright isn't he..
Clearly he rates Lyon's batting higher thoughHe's a flat out run scoring machine. Best player in the world by a mile atm
There were plentyI can seldom recall times Lyon was used as nightwatchman and it actually worked. Ponting's last test is the only one that springs to mind.
Can't disagree. Root would be up there if he learnt that it is actually allowed to score beyond 99. (And the two stand outs for India - Ashwin/Pujara have much to prove overseas.) No one else comes close. He's a flat out run scoring machine. Best player in the world by a mile atm
Name every last one of them and you'll earn a well-thought out post as thanks. There were plenty
Always funny when a night watchman is dismissed before the close.
The fact that he got out doesn't mean the nightwatchman didn't work ftr. It kept Smith safe which was the whole point.I can seldom recall times Lyon was used as nightwatchman and it actually worked. Ponting's last test is the only one that springs to mind.
