Dembele is probably the best young winger in the world. Doubt he'll reach Neymar levels but he's the best they could do.

The referee just did his job. I called it before the Red Card was shown. Rednap asked if anyone would have criticised the referee if he'd not shown the card and the answer is yes. He would be hung by his assessors for not enforcing the rules.

Bollox to the last 2 posts, he ran to the crowd, not in them, didn't take off his shirt, FFS players not celebrating towards fans would kill the last vestige of any connection these Prem ***** have with them.

Based on common sense I agree. My comment was based on the rules. He was a bit unlucky in that the fans engulfed him on the playing area rather than him running into the crowd.

Well, not sure that that is in the rules, he didn't go in the crowd. I mean if it's because the fans engulfed him that could, and did frequently, happen on the pitch.

The law says "climbing onto a perimeter fence and/or approaching the spectators in a manner which can cause safety and/or security issues."
I guess it comes under safety and security issues. Bournemouth is probably one of the few grounds where it's so easy for fans to encroach. There was no intent from fans or the player but I still think it was right under the rules, but ludicrous in just about every other way.

I still think it's ridiculous, that's not the clear-cut booking you or Scaly suggest, it's an out there interpretation, but I am someone who doesn't think a pitch invasion is a big deal, again book everyone that approaches fans after a goal then, which would be practically every goal except one that Reuben Reid scores. speaking of which decent day in Devon/cornwall football for me.

Most of the away days in my days of exuberant youth coincided with the fences preventing you getting on. But I invaded a few in similar circumstances to today.
