Think he is an option at 5, that or Woakes plays and everyone shuffles up one place. Woakes will score more runs than Malan.

I know Westley failed again but there's something about him that makes me think he can come good, could try Hales at 5 though if Malan has a couple of failures.

too add to my earlier praise of Hales, he's proven himself at international level, unlike plenty of other tried and failed test options. Highest ODI score for your country is nothing to scoff att

I know tests and ODIS are different and require different skills but at least he shows he has the fortitude for the top tier of cricket
