Samuels like most Windies players appears to have become much better at Test cricket since he stopped playing it.

Darren Bravo is a loss, Gayle could be albeit with little recent evidence. Rest of them, meh. I've seen Samuels and even Sammy of all people mentioned as missing key players but people could not wait to drop them when they were last playing.

for sure, Sammy will never be a neccesity to a side ever. I love the guy but he was such a bloody no-rounder. nearly the definition of one. did get a 7 fer and a test century but damn(this reminds me to post about him in anothe thread...) was he inconsitent
