Nah, Ash, Hardik, Saha, Jaddu will work better imo.

The way I look at it is you want the more aggressive batsmen to bat later so that if they end up with the tail they can go hammer and tongs, while the more sedate and possibly solid batsmen to bat higher so that they can give whoever is there from the top 5 some good partnerships. So I think what Virat has going right now is probably the best order.

TBH, 100 notwithstanding (and I have always been a fan of Pandya) I just do not think he is a better batsman their either Saha or Ashwin. As such, they bat in the right order AFAIC.

Ash is not a defensive batsman, sure he doesn't hit sixes like Pandya or Jadeja but he always ticks along at a healthy rate.
The only defensive batsman here is Saha so he needs to be batting at the top imo.
