The normal awards that everyone else has
Guessing it's guys he played against/with only?

So much wrong with Lara being at #7, but imagine the reality of it, Lara walking out at 5 down!

All that said, can't understand why you'd have Akhtar in the team in place of McGrath, or Steyn, or Waqar.

I guess it's probably people he's interacted with, rather than played with, given he talks about playing against teams coached by Wasim Akram.

Tallon for Gilchrist. With that batting/bowling you need a good stumper

Yeah there's plenty of batting already but Gilchrist is a superior package to Tallon.

With Miller in the side it's a four-pronged pace attack so outside Warne there will be minimal stumping opportunities anyway.

Personally I'd have Davidson in over Lindwall for the variety. No need for 4 rf bowlers when a lf bowler with an average of 20 is on the bench.

Lillee, Lindwall and McGrath are all vastly different in delivery style. Obviously not to the e tent of left arm but still offer difference and are better bowlers than Davo imo

TBH if Miller is batting top 6 most of the time I'd go with Lillee and McGrath plus Warne and O'Reilly at 8-11.

Still gives you three elite quicks plus the two greatest leggies of all time, albeit with contrasting styles. Imagine having to front up to O'Reilly and Warne on day 5 after Gilly had made a quick 200 to put us about 350 in front!

Also the double attack of a warne - mcgrath combo followed by a lillee - o'reilley combo is a serious test of any batsman's footwork and technique. adjusting to accurate pace bowling and very creative leg spin bowling over after over requires serious concentration.

Not to mention TOTAB > Harvey.
Always happy with either or these guys in that number six slot. Would be happy with SWaugh or Huss or Ponting as well tbh.

All gun fielders as well.
