Can SA get to 100.... probably not. Pathetic display really. TRJ bowled unbelievably well though.

Don`t think Philander will bat either. He is in hospital?

Reminder only true cricket fans have hated Philander's lack of commitment to his fellow man since Adelaide 2012.

Did you catch the conversation on TMS about the last double-barrelled Englishman to take a fivefer doing so with under-arm bowling?

Oh, and there goes Maharaj.

Fair chance that Toblerone won't get a second spell let alone a fifth wicket.

If England do manage to bowl them out tonight the follow on decision obviously won't matter in the slightest, which is probably why it'll get a bunch of people whinging as hard as they can.

Whatever it takes!!!
Seems like one of those days when the collapse starts, you just cannot stop it. Must suck to be a RSA fan right now.

But glad England are back too. It has been a see-saw series and been excellent to follow as a neutral.

This is probably going to jinx him now... but I really like Bavuma and think he has a real chance of becoming a quality international batsmen.

I don`t like losing, but I know that our batting is very brittle, so it does not surprise me in these conditions. I am more upset that Philander got ill and could not bowl, cause that was our best chance to get on top.

This follow on talk is just mind-crushingly frustrating.

A bunch of ex players who know EXACTLY why they won't enforce it and all of them pretending like it's this crazy mystery. Just because they want a day off. Madness.

Edit: And it's exactly this echo chamber bullshit that leads to the nonsense coming on here as though it's fact.

Bavuma seems to make a habit of being the last man with not many runs. Is he batting too low?
I think he has the technique to open... but he tends to just lose concentration and get out. He has had opportunity to convert a number of times when looking good... very frustrating.

Bavuma looks a good player to me but end of the day he's played plenty of Tests and his record is ****. Needs to start scoring big runs

If these two take it till close it means Vern might be able to bat. If they can get to about 100 behind then it gives them a small % chance if they bowl supremely
