Deary me..this is pretty hopeless from England... I made a stupid remark about them not passing 200..

Yay 200

Anyway, do we want to be thinking about an Australia style blooding of some new players? I mean, Jennings hasn't really looked up to it after his promising debut knock, Ballance is on shaky ground (though again his performance looks better then it may have due to the awfulness of some others), Dawson and Wood will probably go, not to mention Jimmy is indisputably on the way out ()

Stokes hasn't done anything special for a little while either, granted he's got much more credit in the bank than those others.

I know the fact that a wholesale change of personnel worked well for Australia by no means means that it'll meet with any success if we try it, but is it something to think about?

Yeah game over virtually, SA can win it today with a partnership.

They bowled excellent, and we were dreadful.

fwiw I'm rarely in favour of wholesale changes. Been there and seen the consequences.

A more clear headed approach would make a big difference, probably more than any changes to personnel. Although I do agree with those who have argued that we're a batsman short.
