Neesham bowls some real innocuous dross in between the disciplined stuff.
Yeah it basically just comes down to the fact that he's a smart and talented cricketer with a **** action. His plans are good but his execution fails him quite a bit because his action isn't repeatable.

Urgh that's a disaster. Losing 2 wickets to a spud like Anderson is killer, especially with Buttler still in spotty at best form.

Typical Cardiff wicket, crappy nothingness where you can't get people out, but absolute filth comes off the pitch slowly and ends up getting chopped on, edged, mistimed etc.

More a case of being two-paced. Milne and Boult got deliveries flying through. A newer ball obviously helps.

Yeah 300 is a good score on this deck, there is enough two pacedness to make batsmen struggle.
