I reckon this is rubbish. I hear so much talk of cliques and bullying etc........just don't post like a knob and you will be fine. (edit :just to be clear that "you" is the general you and not you BW)

And that doesn't mean for a second that you can't voice an opinion that goes against the grain, but just do it in a reasonable manner and you will find the vast majority here will respond in kind even if they disagree.

I do partly agree with BW. Even when I was new to the forum, I had to defend myself from some sarcastic comments though none of my posts were even slightly offensive. And I had seen the same happening to couple of other new posters as well. But once you establish yourself here, this is a great forum and the most knowledgeable forum.

There might be something to be said that, if you're of a certain mindset (or more precisely if you lack a certain mindset), you'll find your own anthem particularly cringeworthy from sheer over-exposure.
