Sussex's day (just) - they had Durham on the ropes at five down but then squandered chances allowing Durham to rebuild. Hopefully we can get early wickets tomorrow.

Shame the weather took down most of this round of games. With the warm spell ahead the spinner hopefully will come into it a bit further.

Cook showing his value to Essex with that day one knock against Hampshire. Top of the championship Essex currently. Were well behind in their first three games but managed to get two draws and a win out of them.

Hampshire trying to shove Dawson to opener to accomodate all those middle order options not working at all, not surprisingly. I know he's done it in the past a while ago but he's been settled in the middle order for a while. Bailey as overseas just not what you want given the Hampshire options. Guess the contract was done. Don't blame them in taking Roussouw. I bet nearly every county would have taken him if they had the money. A borderline international class player just about reaching his peak.

Glamorgan grinding hard for possibly the first time this season.

It is all so laboured, our bowling this season - irrespective of Stokes and Woody's absence. Creaky batting was very predictable but I expected a bit more from Rushworth, Onions and the upcoming seamers, your Weighells etc - and Onions may be knackered so we really are buggered!
