***Official*** Pakistan in West Indies 2017

A few balls were keeping low. Shehzad got one that crept really low. It's difficult batting conditions sure but not unplayable. Definitely not 81 all out bad. Windies just took full toll of the conditions as well. No freebies were offered. Contrast to how they bowled to Pakistan's tail on the 3rd day.

Of course he can adapt. But it will be a easier decision to make if he were a ready-made t20 style player. All the times I've seen Holder, he finds it very hard to hit fours and sixes on demand. He needs time. He's a lot more successful playing tests and thus t20s are not going to be as tempting for him I imagine.

As for the medium pace thing, maybe it's just me but I see more and more of these guys getting clobbered in the t20 circuit.
Hopefully

I've only been able to watch about 15% of the series so far due to temporarily having a life and the timezones being awful so I was really looking forward to this Test. Devastated about the weather. :(

That's a shame.. hope we get enough play to be able to get a result.

Inexplicable decision again. Pakistan played a debutante pretty much in every test in a 4 man attack. Looks like Wahab has ran out of favour with the management

Looks like the WI bowlers really tested them in that first period of play. Azhar Ali would definitely make it to a World XI as opener right now.

Not that he is bad, obviously a good opener, but my feeling is that he bats too slow which means that even when he has batted for a long time Pakistan quickly lose the initiative after a couple of wickets, so you really have to hope he gets a 150-200 because his 80s are not so good for the team. That said , there is a lack of genuinely good openers (Warner sucks against spin, Rahul is injured half the time, Cook is not quite what he used to be.) so you are probably right. He should try to improve that aspect of his game though.

reckon cook might go beast mode again now that he's given up the captaincy.

I agree regarding Azhar Ali. The guy's been in ridiculous form in the last year and scored runs everywhere.

Since last year, he's scored a ton in Edgbaston, a triple in Dubai, a double in Melbourne and a ton in Barbados. Can't remember where I read this, but I remember Jimmy Anderson saying his wicket is the most prized from the Pak top order.
