I really, really hope they do something about this. It's the type of thing which makes me not want to associate myself with said company and try out TNA, LU or Japanese wrestling.

Haha, I doubt they would do that tbf. Not least because they basically did that last year. Tbf though Roman vs AJ from about a year ago was really good.

Yeah, I agree. It's enough to turn you off completely. Not least because Mauro was/is a total gun.
Obvs what he's going through would be a terrible thing to happen to anyone, especially if it's the result of bullying and someone being a colossal asshole. But if reports are to be believed, they've basically allowed an "old school" **** who is horrible to listen to force out a guy who was a breath of fresh air and one of the best things about their programming. ****s.

The thing that really annoys me, and I kept silent during it because I didn't wanna hijick the thread, is that during Taker-Roman, it was absolutely impossible for me to believe JBL wasn't on commentary in part because of this whole thing. He wasn't necessarily rewarded (although it seems it could have been just that), but just that, if Mauro had been doing WM as intended, then it seemed to me that the Smackdown guy wouldn't've been calling the match between two Raw guys, but because Mauro was gone, they could flip things around, and all of a sudden JBL is doing the main event with his friend Cole

Part of the reason I was worried is that Shibata has his script/style of match and he follows it almost always, and he did it here and it worked great, but now that he's lost (in keyfabe) and gone to hospital (real), hopefully we see Shibata adjust his script/style (ie no more headbutts)

Resting Bliss Face would be a good trade for RAW. One of the biggest problems post brand split was all of the competent talkers in the women's division somehow ended up on Smackdown. Bayley, Sasha, Nia, etc. are all pretty hard to listen to at times.

Yeah. I mean, I wouldn't rule that out I guess. But it sounds a bit conspiracy theory-ish for me. Not enough evidence to chalk it up as anything more than speculation.

One of the main reasons I want him to stay though is the chance we get to see AJ vs Naka sooner rather than later. Hope they have good programs for those two if they get separated.
