Dhoni would have loved seeing what he must have looked like from the other end to the non-strikers over the years there. Smith wag.

Also, it's baffling how terribly Mumbai continue to use Pollard. He's a trash death bowler yet they give him the last over and hee'd be much more useful as a batsman higher up the order yet they keep sending him in to bat down at 7.

Smith was dropped on 36, of his 32nd ball. Have to say, with the wisdom of hindsight, it was what brought PSG the win.

Why wasn't Harbhajan playing? They have 2 great T20 bowlers in McLenaghan and Bumrah and a decent spinner would work well for them. Pollard should play as a top 6 bat, not as an all rounder.

TPC = GOD. WAFG.

Dhoni still tried his best to **** this up though. Shoulda sent him earlier than Stokes.

Also Rahane's quality innings, totally expected him to suck some momentum out of the chase, instead he totally gunned it.

Bl**** hell that was a class innings, in any format. The cold control while going at 10 an over boggles the mind. A privilege to watch.

Steven Peter Devereux Smith with be known as the Prince of Pune from now on.

Rahane, Smith can't really be called hitters. For a target over 160, they will have to rely on Stokes and Dhoni really. I haven't seen much of Mayank Agarwal though.
Haha Rahane and Smith made me taste it.

Last year when I was cheering for Rahane he didn't perform.

Lol.

Smith's innings was oddly bad at the half way stage. He was 37 off 32 when he was dropped and would have vindicated your statement if the catch was taken. You need guys going at a better clip than that when chasing 180+. Dhoni's tried his best to lose it in the end as well.

TPC is love. TPC is life. Check out all the haters in this thread pouring on him like it isn't a doddle to him and he wasn't just taking the piss. The bloke is a run machine, doesn't matter where he plays, who for or in what format.

Whatever it takes!!!
There is a reason why MSD is awesome. Check out how he gets his left leg up while taking that catch of Krunal Pandya (I think). He did that just in case he dropped it, it can rebound up off his legs and he or some other fielder close to him would have another shot at the catch. Its a kinda cricketing 6th sense that you really can't teach into people. WAG!!!!!

Think he learned that from Bevo

Even bowling wide outside off stump to Steve Smith is of no use. He'll walk few feet outside off stump and smack it to leg side boundary.

Yes. Try to get your body behind the ball when you go for a catch. Revolutionary thinking.

wtf was Dhoni doing getting 12 off 12 at that stage of the game when they still had 7 wickets in hand . . . very lucky they won that or I would have had his head on the chopping block without a doubt

Can't wait till Pune play Bangalore. India's rightful captain, ex-captain and Australia's captain will team up against the evil Kohli.
