Lets move the topic off of this franchise T20 shall we? Getting very boring reading S.Kennedy and others essentially post the same thing with different wordings at least 15 times a day.

Early predictions:

Div One winners: Middlesex
Relegated: Lancs, Essex.
Promoted: Notts, Durham.

One Day Cup: Surrey
T20 Blast: Hampshire

Has Division Two now gone back to two promoted?
I think so. Will be tight up there, Worcestershire, Notts, Durham will be the top 3 (Not in that order mind)

Would not be a huge surprise if he is out of the England side in the next years or so though (really hope this is not the case) so could work out quite well for Warwickshire.

Not really bothered about that, barely plays for Worcs with his England commitments anyway.
Dobell was speculating in his piece on Moeen that Joe Clarke may be on the way out at the end of the season also as he wants to be keeping wicket (and possibly div 1 cricket). That would be a bigger issue I guess as he scored lots of runs last season. Possibly needs to make the England team this summer/winter as a batsman to keep him- but I don't think he's ready for that yet.

Nice to see Adam Wheater get a three figure score in Essex's pre-season game against Durham MCCU, the Nick Browne looking to build on his last couple of season's weighed in with 66 and 19 year-old pace bowler Aaron Beard registered his maiden first-class half-century. With Jamie Porter picking up a couple of wickets at the end of the day for Essex, it seems like they had a satisfactory workout.

Adam Lyth already a 1/4 of the way to 1000 first class runs for the summer. 194 today + 56 in the MCC game.

Jack Brooks (4-6 weeks) and Sidebottom already injured though. Plunkett also injured. Willey and Fisher returning from injuries but not match fit as yet.

Most student games are fairly pointless but at least Loughborough are holding their own - Nitish Kumar flying the flag for Canada with a run a ball 141

No bone damage to Hameed's hand and he might even be fit to play against Essex on Friday - excellent news

Yeah I read that too. I would be in favour of giving the gloves to Clarke but in all honesty Cox is one of the best pure keepers in the division, maybe even in the whole country. So really, if Ben plays, he keeps wicket, otherwise Worcs are weakening their team. And really, Cox has to play because there is one really to take his place. Most players in the 2's are either youngsters from the Academy or washed-up first teamers who are really just seeing their contract out, if you get me?
