We don't need silly slogging from tailenders to win this.

Trust the batsmen to go out there and bat and do their ****ing job.

Last thing we want to do is gift Australia some easy wickets and show them signs of panic by doing smth dumb like that

so have handscomb and marsh played themselves back out of the side now
No and yes. I think Marsh was supposed to be a horses for courses selection, and given he failed here, it's unlikely he'll play in the Ashes (might in Bangladesh in fairness).

Handscomb on the other hand is clearly in our Best XI, so he's no chance of getting dropped.

Nah... he has pet hates amongst players and guess for whatever reason, Ashwin is in there int hat list now. It was a **** post from him in the first place.
Learn to take a joke please. You're honestly way too aggressive in chat threads these days. Just chill. The cricket's so good.

Whatever it takes!!!
Was a pretty accurate statement from him tbh

Not at all.. as Vic pointed out, he has come to the party at crucial times. He was good in Pune and Bangalore and AFAIC, Lyon has been worse as he has heavily depended on the track to get him the wickets, even more than Ash. Just because one depends on turn and the other on bounce does not mean one is better than the other. And Lyon went missing far longer than Ashwin has in conditions that should have helped him.

A Cummins hattrick would be a nice way to end the day.

Really the key moment of the series was on day 2 in Bangalore. Neither Renshaw nor Marsh went on to make a hundred. If either of them did that we'd have been 2-0 up and cruised to the series win. Both of them threw their wickets away softly and it let India back into the series.

Marsh should have his cards marked NTPFAA. This injury should be it for him. Despite his heroics in the last test he really hasn't been good enough to warrant playing him over Khawaja. And he's gone completely missing in the biggest test of his career.

Renshaw had a great start to the series but has been poor the last couple of tests.

Warner has been awful.

Maxwell has been pretty good and should keep his spot.

Smith has been a monster. He's seriously tried to win this by himself.

Nah come on, he's been cod ordinary all series. Jadeja is a better bowler and cricketer than him by miles. Be a travesty if he plays as the only spinner away from home.
Definitely been ordinary this particular series. Deserves a longer rope given his history of bowling us to wins (in Asia admittedly) consistently. Fitness issues, form/class etc.
