Was great watching 3 wrist spinners at Kingsmead and von Berg outbowled the two Proteas in Tahir and Shamsi. The wickets was a used one so wasn't the most ideal for limited overs cricket.

Cameron Delport  Just why.
Makram as well...!!

TITNS 78/3 (15.5 ov, AB de Villiers 26*, F Behardien 4*, A Gqamane 1/25) | Live Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

I do think that if Titans get to play this team they should be handicapped 100 runs....
:D

Just watched a bit of this as went out. Markram got a stinker. Half-way down and didn't get higher than ankle height. Typical Benoni. No offence Marius but the worst out ground in the country  Pity because it would have been nice for Markram to bat with the master AB.

Morris and Ngidi extracted nice movement early on. I actually think the quality of fast-bowling hasn't been to great in the MOC. I know it is late in the season and pitches are flat but it hasn't been great. Huge disappointment that Dupavillon has had to miss a whole season with various odd injuries. I am hoping he bounces back and carries on getting 5-fors for Dolphins like he started doing at 19/20.

Pretorius keeps getting better.
A couple seasons back I couldnt have seen him scoring hundreds. Certainly has improved loads. Would love him to get an extra yard of pace but past injuries probably wont let us see that.

19 yo Mulder with 30 off 15 in a testing situation. What a talent.

Yeah Pretorius looked so much better with the bat in NZ than I'd remembered from when I saw him early in his career. He didn't really score heaps but he really looked like a genuine batsman out there.

Definitely was only T20 material before but was even using soft hands and deflecting the ball behind square in his 50 v NZL. You can't ask for more than that with players on the domestic scene. That they just keep improving.

Last round-robin fixtures tomorrow in MODC and all to play for bar the Lions and Cobras.

Titans (28)
Dolphins (24)
Knights (23)
Warriors (21)
Lions (13)
Cobras (12)

Dolphins v Knights at Kingsmead (Televised)
Titans v Cobras at Centurion
Warriors v Lions at St George's

*Basically the Titans win they secure a home Final.
**If the Warriors win they will secure the away play-off because Dolphins play Knights and one will most probably lose.

A bit of the 3-day leading run-scorers and leading wicket-takers. Provincial cricket becoming more important as clearly players playing here could be playing franchise cricket.

Cricket Records | Records | Sunfoil 3-Day Cup, 2016/17 | Most runs | ESPN Cricinfo

Experienced guys like P. Malan, Conway, Agathagelou, P.Botha, Pillay, A.Malan, Y.Cook, Thomson, Lubbe, Cloete, E.Moore, Swanepoel on the list who are franchise-provincial cusp players.

Youth that stands-out are Valli, J.Malan, Rickelton, Moonsamy, Verreynne, Ackerman, du Plooy

Migael Pretorius stands out here for me. Galiem also being an all-rounder but looks like step up to franchise cricket will be a bit tougher for his bowling rather than his batting.

This play-off between warriors and knights is going to be abandoned.... atrocious wicket I can`t see them playing on.

Apparently the St Georges staff did not realize that they needed to prepare a wicket until 5 days ago... it shows.
You mean Bloem.

That cannot be an excuse though. Poor from Free State/Knights cricket. Deserves a massive fine.
