I love how crazy Jens has been slagging off Arsenal's "sulking" players today. WAG. Wish he was still around.

There's a bloke in the England team tonight I have never heard of - I think the time has come for me to accept that football has both overtaken me and left me behind

The only England players I know are Hart and I saw Defoe on the bench. I watched the anthems then turned it off. Watching England play football is like torture.

Did none of the ITV 'experts' notice that the Vardy incident early in the game was a stonewall penalty?

Instead we hear a load of **** about how he should try and stay on his feet?!?

Yeah, it's almost like all that **** you were speaking about just several posts ago and went all quiet about as soon as you were called out on it hey?

What saying they need to spend more? The net spend of the two teams above them (the two Manchester clubs) is pretty much double the CDMs. The CDMs and a few others are similar and separated by a couple million per year here and there, if for instance Sanchez left then they'd rocket down the table. The other key point was that the CDMs have consistently made a profit, so whilst they have a relatively high net spend, they can afford more. However it is looking a real possibility they'll miss out on the Champions League next season. If that happens then you can argue their lack of investment has cost them that particular cash cow for one season.

Yes, I too wish Arsenal had had a succession of dud strikers at £25m a pop so that our net spend was closer to City's.

Great straw man argument folks. I know sledger is incapable of actually addressing anything directly - basically a lite version of Donald Trump, and follows me around so he can "look at me! look at me!, what about this he said 3 weeks ago which I've stored up in the hope of bring it up even though it has **** all relevance, look at me I'm so clever! I scored a point, look, looooook" but I'd have thought by now some of you have realised you don't get any reflected glory from hanging onto his coattails.

One does not just miss just one Champions League season
