Honestly so grim seeing Wenger cling on like this. Literally not enjoyable for anyone at this point.
I disagree. Although if the CDMs really do carry on not spending any money I can only see them getting worse. Seeing all the spoilt ****ney wideboys crying would be superb. They'll never shut the **** up, but I'd love seeing them pining for Chief Whingeur again in amongst a tirade of their arrogant wuckfitted opinions when they have about as much footballing sense as a Scotland central defender who's had a few too many headers.

It would make Arsenal irrelevant next year if he signs another contract, the man is absolutely finished at the top level, concerning for Arsenal fans, but a blessing for the rest if he is arrogant enough to carry on.

Outstanding weekend for the Palace. Despite not managing shot on target. they've gained three points on most of their relegation rivals, and two points on the other one.
Clearly Allardice is a genius after all.

Scaly must be one of those new football fans who considers spending £100m in a summer not spending any money.

I'm on more about net spend. CDMs are in a very strong financial position, but they've been more of a feeder team than one that invests to win things on the pitch. When they've bought good players they've usually sold them on at a profit soon after.

Examples?

Edit: Also, Arsenal have the 3rd highest net spend in the Premiership over the last 5 years...

So again...

That has literally never been true.

edit: unless by 'soon after' you mean '10 years later.'
