***Official*** Australia in India 2017

While it is a teensy bit creepy, it is kinda impressive how good PEWS is at remembering random CW posts and twitter bios.

Good test match with solid individual performances from both sides. Well done Australia in keeping out the final day with grit and determination.

In the context of the series this is the best possible result but Indian fans wouldn't be too pleased with the result though.

Whoever says this test was boring or supports a four day test must get to face a spell of fast bowling from Pat Cummins.

Even if Australia get hammered in the last test, I will be happy with this series

1) I got to keep an interest until sometime into the last test

2) I got to see Australia's maligned spinners lend some credence to my crackpot theory that they might be as good as the production line of Indian spinners if only they got to specialise in the subcontinent.

3) I got to see 2 of Australia's pace men put in great performances in the subcontinent.

4) I got to see Smiddeh settle the best batsman in the world (yet again)! Smiddehhhhhhhhh!

5) I got to see Jadeja outperform the brain.

6) I got to see a young Australian batsman show promise for the future (Renshaw).

7) I got to see TWO Victorians help Australia to keep it together when another lollapse was brewing. Might Vics!

8) I have not yet had to endure the originally expected rubbing my nose in how crap Australia are in the subcontinent, which has the sum effect of silently saying "Suck it India! and Suck in Pommy bastards, and suck it Weaking little brother." all at the same time.

to be fair I remembered it the moment I knew what he was talking about. the logical chain of connections from *****'s posting and cw memes to my twitter bio is not exactly obvious though.

I guarantee you if Kohli scores a match winning ton in the final test we'll have Jono back here posting about how awesome his boy is

To be fair, the pitch has ****ing sucked. Much worse than the first two pitches IMO.
Haha it's like bitching about Donald Bradman's batting on debut claiming he will never be test standard and then by the end of the his career saying you really meant he'd be above-test standard.

Morgie was much weirder because he'd reference posts from before he was even a member. Not cute at all.
Boredom does some odd things to you.

Plus when other ****s reference them in posts made when I actually was a member (and reading them live), you do get curious.

Man! I am so happy with this performance from Australia. I know I was all 'woe is me' only yesterday, but that is only because I can't remember them being able to fight out a draw where they needed to bat the whole last day. I am happier with this draw than with the win in game 1.

What a f'in series. One test to go, Winner takes all, and a draw (now that Australia has figured out how to do it) means we retain the Border/Gavaskar Trophy.
Absolutely. And I feel Smith has had no small part in this performance through getting the attitude right in this team. I give Lehmann no credit.

Also, I much prefer supporting a team full of young talents than 35 yo journey men. Ageist as that may be.

You know what would be a perfect end to this series? If Kohli can make a double hundred, but Australia somehow pulls off a win and increases Kohli's pointless centuries in losses statistics.

I'm going to pull my head in now - My euphoria is actually a large compliment to this Indian team who are a fortress at home. My revelling in Kohli's failure, also a compliment. I am very amazed he has not cashed in yet.

Marsh and Handscomb take a bow. When 2 wickets fell as I was sitting on the bus on the way home, with one being Smith, I thought we were done. Such an epic effort to bat for so long on a day 5 wicket. I can't remember the last time we batted out a match for a draw.
