A draw here would be a huge achievement, Even losing 2-1 would be a pretty decent achievement for Australia this tour, and they should be pretty happy with that considering the expectations and conditions they faced.

This is getting really frustrating now. 50 overs left, so even if Australia bat out 40 of those, they should be safe.

Poor captaincy from Kohli.
Depends on how quickly we score. On current run rates assuming we last 40 overs we'll set a target of about 40 runs off 8 overs is achievable.

Must admit, I thought Aust would get rolled & be shot psychologically in the last two tests having let that opportunity slip in the 2nd test... Credit to their mental toughness and if they could manage a draw here it could give them a real boost for a 2nd wind in the last Test..

Nostrils is one of the best blokes in world cricket. Discuss.
Yeah, he just looks like a guy who gets how cool it is to be playing international sport for his country. He's been unlucky lately (not Ishant "unlucky") with a lot of dropped catches of his bowling, but I don't really recall him ever throwing a fit. He just gives this pained, half-smile and walks back to his mark. He's a bit dumb but that's part of his charm. Highly entertaining batsman too.

India actually have a few nice, harmless blokes in and around the team (Pujara, Rahane, Bhuvi, Shami etc.), it's just that Kohli's aura of supreme dickishness overwhelms everything in its path.

I'd still say India are favourites. All it takes is one wicket and all hell might break loose. As long as the target is under 5 runs an over India should chase it.

If we survive to tea with only 1 more wicket to fall, then I might believe. Even then.....
