Yeah. All the stuff that's blown up - the Smith incident and now this - has been so objectively minor. It's **** that it's turned out this way when the cricket has been top quality.

Honestly, I just hope he messages the team in private and sends them a simple apology, and this is all resolved without getting the media and some sort of public slanging match starting. That could get crazy ugly.

This is so much tamer than full blown accusations of cheating and racism, but whatever works works. Lets hope it escalates to some real hostility. Some genuine bad blood. Get some real aggression on that field. More hostile pace bowling. More sledging. Some more relentless mocking of Kohli. Sunil Gavaskar throwing a punch at Matty Hayden in the comms box. Shri and Spikey getting banned.
