Hard to tell but so far it seems to have played great. Outfield is ridiculously quick.

All we know is Steve Smith was not allowed to take selfies near the pitch and the hidden ones obtained by news.com.au appear to be doctored.

Looks a solid wicket so far, really comes down to how quickly/how much it breaks.

Australia with a solid opportunity getting to bat first though. Indian quicks haven't helped with their wayward line and lengths.

Can get 450+ here easily. Fast outfield so even with some of the balls stopping and turning it really is quite easy to score.

Could easily lollapse to 250 on this track too tho. Not a complete road.

Yeah there's been turn but the thing that's really stood out (apart from the awesome outfield) is how consistent everything (turn, pace, bouce) has seemed. It's reminded me a bit of SSC in Colombo, which is one the roadiest roads in the world despite taking some turn. Obviously it could deteriorate though; one of the key characteristics off SSC is that is starts like this and then stays like this.

All the talk about the pitch and it turns out to be a real flat one with reasonable pace too and the outfield is lightning fast..

400 would merely be a par score here, unless something dramatic happens to the pitch.
