I can't believe I ate the whole thing
People already calling for Broom's dropping. A duck is bad but Kane and Tom also getting <10 to good bowling means we should wait and see his second innings at least, ffs.

Gonna go down as our Ferguson, at this rate.

Thanks. Mouth watering prospects for RSA: Steyn, Philander and a more mature Rabada. Can't wait.

Nicholls with a real chance to capitalise today and make us all eat ****. The pitch is playing pretty well and the hard work's been done, time to go on and make a 100.

nicholls is such a weird batsmen. Looks club standard against bangladesh and pakistan, then pulls out this **** against the best attack in the world on a bat first wicket.

Decent effort from Maharaj picking up a couple on a day 1 seaming pitch. Has it been genuinely good spin bowling or poor judgement from the Kiwis after getting set up by the quicks at the other end?

Thank jesus for Nicholls. Who would of thought we'd be thinking that! With only some CDG slogging to come, we really need him to kick on.

250 wouldn't be enough, we know the Basin turns into a road after the first 2 sessions of play. But it would be something to bowl for.

Raval had a complete brain-melt and kept playing for day 4 Murali spin rather than day 1 Maharaj spin until he nicked one to slip. Think Neesham's dismissal was a good'un though.

Decent little recovery there, but it's kinda worrying that the pitch is now playing veeeeery nicely. Need to scrap our way to at least 300 just to stay in the game.
