Why? How much of a positive effect is Arsene actually having these days? Do you think the players that would remain would suddenly be less talented because a different manager was there? I don't really feel like the way they play under Arsene is getting them extra points or better results.
I don't mean they'll necessarily get worse, they could get better. I just think the fact that they've been at an almost identical level for 14 years is down to Wenger. It's his strengths that keep them as good as they are and his weaknesses that prevent them from taking the next step.

I think his strengths are mostly in squad building, so yeah it might be a year or two before they start to miss him.

Statement from the Chairman

Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick says:
“We are fully aware of the attention currently focused on the club and understand the debate. We respect that fans are entitled to their different individual opinions but we will always run this great football club with its best long-term interests at heart.
"Arsène has a contract until the end of the season. Any decisions will be made by us mutually and communicated at the right time in the right way.”

FA cup on Monday is crappy scheduling. Going to be hard to find an excuse to sneak out to watch. On the plus side I can watch it unlike the Europa games which have now been moved to ESPN who is only showing them on their Hispanic channels ffs.

1st one wasn't a foul and the 2nd was minimal contact. Bottle job by the ref. What's he going to do now card every 2nd challenge?

Say what.

Rashford no doubt will be back on the bench if Rooney is fit for the next game, cut above most of the Manure team, but young so Mourinho hates him.

Actually the boy was lucky to stay on the pitch as long as he did.He should have shown Herrera a second yellow for his massive show of dissent for the first one.

Yep. I wish the referees would actually do this.

The whole footballing culture stinks. Would love a rugby union like refereeing culture. The pathetic crybabies wouldn't know what's hit them.
